Konnichiwa! Maybe you are wondering why am I into VLOGging lately because I find it very convenient to share rather than writing it down. I mean my thoughts are so messed up lately and I am too lazy to write a blog because I’m back to work plus mama duties are sooooo new to me.
Anyways, my husband – a cycling freak lol sorry! joined a cycling race ( that doesn’t have any prizes just a piece of certificate – yes thats Japan for yah!) in Shimizucho. So me being a good wife, gave a full support along with my papa, son and aunt. The race was so intense that it ended in just a few minutes. Luckily, he won 6th place and was awarded with a cerificate. His teammate however won 1st place in their category.
Since we are just around the area, we decided to go to some sightseeing spots. Originally, we wanted to go to the 5th station in Mt Fuji via Subaru line but we wont probably make it on time so instead we go to Izu Peninsula.
The Izu Peninsula is part of the Shizuoka Prefecture, the prefecture that we lived. It took us almost an hour to arrive in the Lovers Point (Koibito Misaki) from the cycling event in Shimizucho. Actually, There are lots of things to see in the Izu Peninsula its just that we don’t have time anymore to explore the area.
The Lovers Point (koibito misaki) is such a beautiful place and a they have a very cute tencho, a fluffy cat. Too bad, I forgot to take a pic or include it on the video because Ethan was so ecstatic when he saw the cute little cat.
In there, You can see the majestic Mt. Fuji and a panoramic beautiful scenery but before that you need to hike 700 meters to reach it. I think, it is best viewed during sunset and a best place to propose!
The place is really meant for lovers because as you can see in my VLOG ( sorry I have to use my own language because I am much more comfortable talking with it haha and nevermind my huge face 😂🤦♀️) you can put a “love-lock” in there and they also have some bells where you can ring it for your success in love. But ofcourse, even if you dont have a lover you can still come and visit the place. Dont forget to ring the bell three times to succed in the field of love!
The Lovers Point is located on the western part of Izu or Nishi Izu, so if you want to go there you can go by bus or car just follow the route 136 or google map it 😂
